Skills training succeeds best when new ideas and skills carefully build on previous learning. ETC training employs well-planned spaced repetition from pre-course exercises through follow-up coaching.
At ETC we know how difficult it can be to take your team
members away from their day-to-day responsibilities to attend training. We
also know that training is not a single event, but a process. With that in
mind, we've designed a four-phase approach to ensure that you get more out
of your training experience and maximize your return on investment.
ETC Faculty will meet with your leadership team to discuss the business challenges you are facing and design a customized course to meet your needs.
Participants are introduced to basic MER concepts and asked to consider real-world situations to work on during and after the MER course. This independent pre-course preparation enables your team members to spend fully one-third of class time actually practicing the skills, so you get more value for the time you invest in training.
MER courses can be structured in a way that works best for
your business. Whether you'd like to do the course in three-day segments,
half-day segments or something in between, we can design a solution that works
for you.
Research shows that it takes a minimum of twelve weeks of follow-up for cultural change to take root. After training, each participant is matched with a coach who will help develop and implement an action plan. Coaching sessions take place by phone at times that are convenient for your team members.
We are available to you before, during and after the course, and we depend on your feedback. Over the past 30+ years, customer suggestions have been regularly incorporated into our courses, ensuring our clients continue to get more from their training experience. |
